Dear Parents,

Assalam Alaikum!

I would like to start by thanking everyone for their invaluable dedication to our school mission and supporting our belief that learning never stops. I can assure you that our wonderful team has been working day and night and against all the hardship to serve the best interest of our students. I would also like to comfort you that despite this unexpected and unprecedented period, I am very confident that humanity will prevail and we will be back with a stronger will and desire.

We praise the Amir of Kuwait for his kindness and directions to take strong, but effective measures to ensure the safety of everyone in Kuwait. To control the pandemic, the country chose a heightened response by enforcing social distancing, partial curfew and lock downs in certain areas and we are all seeing the positive results.

We also adhered and supported the country's guidance and made our number one priority: the health and well-being of our students, staff and the communities we serve without compromising the educational needs. We are doing our part steadfastly, focused on ensuring education continuity for our students while supporting the needs of our educational team.

To update you with what is happening behind the scenes, our dedicated team of teachers have prepared a significant number of engaging activities for our students, as listed below:

We have started our free E-Learning program from Monday, 20th April 2020.The E-Learning will be delivered by using Microsoft Teams and "Track My School" mobile app.

The E-Learning will be provided in the form of live lectures, videos and worksheets covering all the subjects.

The students have been provided with the login ID and passwords to join the online classes. The performance of the students will be tracked by our mobile app, "Track My School" .

We have sourced numerous Free self-learning courses from leading institutions worldwide , and their links will be provided in Microsoft Teams soon for our students to access them select from a variety of topics and lessons.

We are also planning to provide online community engagement activities for students, such as career guidance, personality testing, indoor physical fitness exercises as well as activities & seminars for parents about various skills and topics.

We have also sourced professional development courses for our teachers in order to continue to sharpen and improve their knowledge and skills.

As mentioned, all the activities will be provided complimentary to our students, parents and teachers and we encourage you all to use them.

The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of private schools on the 4th of August, 2020 and we will be circulating the new calendar year schedule soon. We will keep you updated if there are any new developments and we look forward to welcoming you again soon at our PES campus.

We are all in this together and I encourage you all to continue supporting our mission and enlightening your children.
